Our Leadership Team
Mrs. Leigh Sears
Chief Executive Officer, Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Cook County Area
With a heart for service and a vision for empowering youth, Mrs. Leigh Sears has served as the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Cook County Area since 2019.
Mrs. Leigh is passionate about giving back to the community whose love and support has shaped her into the leader she is today. Growing up in Cook County, Mrs. Leigh says that some of the people who made the biggest impact on her life were her softball coaches.
"It is such an honor and privilege to serve the community that's given me so much and made me who I am. I wouldn't be who I am without the guidance and mentorship that I received then, and it means so much to me that I can give back to the community and make a difference in these kids' lives."
Mrs. Leigh brings her 20+ years of experience in local banking and non-profit leadership, also serving as Co-Chair for the annual Toys for Cook Kids drive.
Mr. C'reon Arnold
Teen Center Unit Director, Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Cook County Area
Mr. C'reon joined our team in Spring 2025 and is passionate about community building and creating opportunities for youth.
As our Teen Center Unit Director, Mr. C'reon hopes to leave a lasting imprint with engaging, interactive programs equip our youth with real-world skills, confidence, and a vision for the future.
"The Boys & Girls Club aligns with my passion for youth development and community building. It's a space where I can actively shape futures and create opportunities that many youth wouldn't have access to. I bring a blend of real-world leadership, non profit management, military discipline, and community development experience. My background is grounded in resilience, innovation, and meeting youth where they are to assist in growth, said Mr. C'reon.
"I am deeply committed to our youth’s success both during and long after the Boys and Girls Club. I lead with a pure heart, strategy, and purpose. I believe everyone no matter the age deserves mentor who sees their full potential, even when they can’t always see it themselves."
Mr. C'reon envisions the Teen Center becoming a place where teens come not only to have fun and be part of cool experiences, but also a launchpad for their dreams.
